Quick answers to what guests ask most often before booking.
Yes — the Village and the gondola are about a two-minute walk from the front door. Restaurants, shops, and the lift up to Canyon Lodge are all on foot. Park once in our heated underground garage when you arrive and don't touch your car until you head home.
The condo sleeps up to 12 comfortably across 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There's a king-bed master with attached bath, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room with two doubles and two twins. Additional flex sleeping on the loft and master bedroom futons rounds out capacity for larger groups.
We have two fixed heated spaces in the underground garage that come with the condo. If you're bringing a third or fourth vehicle, let us know — we can sometimes find extra space nearby, but it's not guaranteed. The Village also has paid public parking lots within a short walk if needed.
The condo is pet-free — we keep the space allergen-friendly for every guest. We love dogs and cats but ask that they stay home for this trip. If you're traveling with a pet, Mammoth Lakes has plenty of pet-friendly rental options nearby; happy to point you to a few if it helps.
A fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, two wood-burning fireplaces, in-unit washer and dryer, a gas grill on the back deck, fast Wi-Fi throughout, and smart TVs in the living room and master. The complex also includes year-round access to a shared indoor heated pool and hot tub with floor-to-ceiling mountain views.
A flat cleaning fee is added at booking and reflected in the quote you see on the availability calendar. We don't collect a damage deposit — we trust our guests to leave the condo in the same shape they found it, which two decades of repeat visitors have done beautifully.
Yes — booking direct through this site is typically 5–10% less than the same stay on VRBO or Airbnb because we pass platform commission savings back to you. The booking experience, calendar, and cancellation terms are the same; you just pay less. Check availability and book direct →
Mammoth has one of the longest ski seasons in North America — typically November through early summer. Peak demand is December through March; January and February deliver the most reliable powder. Summer (June–September) is hiking, biking, fishing, and festival season with comfortable 60–75°F days. Shoulder seasons (May and October) are quieter and less expensive but still beautiful.

We're outdoor enthusiasts based in San Diego, and we've owned at the Village for over twenty years. We bought here because the location is unbeatable — you can park the car underground, walk out to the gondola, and not get back in your car until you head home. After two decades of stays, we've kept the condo updated and stocked with the things our own family uses every trip.
